ABOUT THE CLIENT

Steinbeis & Häcker Vermögensverwaltung GmbH, based in Munich, is a long-standing financial partner for private and institutional clients with numerous awards for investment funds. It is an owner-managed and independent insider tip. The client approached us not only with the desire to give their long-standing website a fresher and more contemporary look. They also wanted us, as a creative advertising agency, to support them with the corporate design for their extensive business stationery.

THE CHALLENGE

The existing website of Steinbeis & Häcker Vermögensverwaltung already met the basic standards of the modern digital world, but the existing design was relatively simple. It lacked a clear recognition value and a clear visual positioning that would do justice to the quality and service of Steinbeis Häcker. In addition, a photo shoot with a special yet professional visual concept was required.

In the finance and asset management sector, designs tend to be restrained and straightforward. Despite these premises, the aim here was to create an individual visual language and a strong recognition value.

The integration of media elements to provide insights into the asset management company's working methods and expertise was considered, and an extensive media library with films, podcasts, and blog posts was to be integrated. The entire design concept also had to work in print, as the client wanted a harmonious addition to business cards, letterhead, and other business stationery.

THE WEB AGENCY'S APPROACH

For our designers, the most important approach was to clearly communicate the services and expertise of the asset management company.

A clear menu structure with a restrained color scheme and a black-and-white core concept was to form the basis of the web design. This fits the industry and clearly sets it apart from the competition. We chose an abstract representation using graphic elements in the form of dots and blocks to illustrate core values and competencies. This gives the new website a unique look without distracting too much from its factual values.

We also made a significant visual change to the logo. Previously, it was in a striking red. We felt that the color choice was outdated and not in line with the rest of the graphics and design. The color adjustment of the entire corporate design promotes a harmonious overall look for the online presence.

Technically, we implemented the new website based on WordPress as a content management system. The presentation of the competent employees in words and pictures creates additional trust and proximity. The photo shoot for this was perfectly executed by Bodo Mertoglu.

Finally, we incorporated the chosen design concept into Steinbeis & Häcker's business stationery. In addition to designing business cards, letterhead and envelopes, folders, portfolios, and other printed materials, we made sure that some of the items were printed on special paper with a special finish.

THE RESULT

The new website for Steinbeis & Häcker shows that a minimalist approach can be diverse and multimedia-rich in the financial sector. The asset management podcast, videos, market reports, and other media have been clearly integrated into the new website and fit perfectly with the company's informative and competent profile.

The new web design meets all contemporary standards of the digital world. Services can be viewed quickly and clearly, and the quick search function makes it even easier to find specific content. The redesign of the logo also contributes to the calm and elegant effect of the website. All of this is continued in the printed materials as business stationery.

Our team at vierzehn02 would like to express our sincere thanks for the trust placed in us. We wish Steinbeis & Häcker every success with their new look.
